About ORIENT - German Journal for Politics, Economics and Culture of the Middle East 

The scientific magazine ORIENT – German Journal for Politics, Economics and Culture of the Middle East, founded in 1960 with a circulation of 2,000 copies, is published by the German Orient-Institute.  The ORIENT has become known for the high quality of its scholarly articles. All relevant decision makers in German politics, business and academia receive a copy.  The ORIENT is published trimonthly and focuses on a wide range of aspects concerning the Islamic world such as regional, political, economic, cultural and social topics.
